Tethered – Where Culture Meets Calm

Tethered is a mindfulness and storytelling app inspired by the serene landscapes, rich folklore, and cultural depth of Scotland. We help people reduce stress, improve sleep, and build lasting emotional resilience by pairing evidence-based mindfulness techniques with immersive, place-based narratives.

Born from personal experience with grief and the need for mental space, Tethered blends ancient storytelling with modern science. Our guided meditations, sleep stories, and visual dreamscapes are rooted in Scotland’s geography, history, and heritage, offering users a sense of grounding and belonging often missing in modern mindfulness apps.

Since launching in June 2024, we’ve gained over 1,000 paying subscribers (mostly in the US) and built a social media community of 35,000+ followers.

We are now expanding into the B2B and hospitality sectors, offering bespoke content to hotels, travel experiences, and corporate wellness partners. We're also seeking strategic investment and partnerships to help us scale internationally.
