Empowering the voiceless
CEO at Dico Technologies srl
Milano, Italy
About
DICo is a patented medical device (Class I of MDR), created to allow voiceless people, with also movement impairments, to communicate in an easy to learn, simple way: the system is composed by a wearable IMU sensor and a tablet, configurated with an Android application. The patient is able to select drawings, symbols, letters (semplified keyboard) on a tablet screen, composing sentences and communicating what needed, with the simple movement of the sensor fixed on one part of the body. The composition of the sentences is guided by AI algorithms: there is the possibility to use the voice synthetizer and to translate the communication into 57 different languages. We would like to find partners interested in developing further the device, integrating more functionalities and using the wide range of application of the sensor
