AlmaMerse

DIVE Immersive Arts is an XR studio based in Thessaloniki, Greece, developing AlmaMerse: a modular XR system enabling the creation of emotionally-informed immersive environments.

Within UNITE, we focus on intangible heritage across generations — not limited to displacement — capturing lived memories, family knowledge, micro-rituals and embodied practices that tend to disappear as ageing populations pass away. AlmaMerse allows cultural memory to be encoded in immersive narrative spaces, preserving tacit knowledge and transferring it to younger generations in experiential form.

We seek partners in cultural heritage, ethnography, community archives, museums, healthy ageing ecosystems and digital humanities to co-create, prototype and evaluate modular XR environments and AI-supported workflows for memory preservation, intergenerational transfer and narrative continuity.
