Implementing ePROMs for Real-Time Monitoring and Personalized Care in Breast Cancer Therapy
Medical Oncologist at Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda
Milan, Italy
About
The increasing complexity of breast cancer treatments, including targeted therapies and immunotherapy, requires continuous patient-centered monitoring beyond traditional clinical visits. This project aims to integrate electronic Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (ePROMs) into routine oncology care to capture real-time data on symptoms, treatment-related toxicities, and quality of life in breast cancer patients undergoing systemic therapy.
Collected ePROM data will be analyzed to detect early signs of adverse events, guide timely clinical interventions, and personalize supportive care. By linking ePROM trends with clinical, laboratory, and treatment data, we aim to develop predictive models that improve therapy management and enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
We seek collaborations with digital health experts, software developers, data scientists, and clinical research partners to co-design the platform, optimize data integration, and evaluate its clinical and organizational impact.
