Dust detector development
About
We're looking for possible partners / collaborators for hardware development. The dust impact detectors are based on impact ionization, i.e. when dust impacts faster than 1 km/s, it ionizes and vaporizes. The ions can be used for time-of-flight mass spectroscopy, or generally the ions and electrons are measured for gaining information on the dust impact speed and mass.
