PRECISEU Matchmaking Platform

PRECISEU (PeRsonalised medicine Empowerment Connecting Innovation ecoSystems across EUrope) is a Horizon Europe Regional Innovation Valleys (RIVs) action that connects regional innovation ecosystems to accelerate the adoption of personalised medicine and related deep-tech health solutions in Europe.

Through a cascade funding scheme, PRECISEU will support Joint Interregional Projects (JIPs) that bridge the gap between research and market uptake in key areas such as Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs), genomics, cell and tissue therapies, and the secondary use of health data and digital health. The focus is on technologies at TRL 6–8, moving tested innovations towards real-world implementation and clinical adoption.

The PRECISEU Matchmaking platform on b2match is a key instrument to connect stakeholders across participating regions, foster partnerships and help applicants design high-quality proposals aligned with the PRECISEU Open Call strategic priorities.

By joining PRECISEU Matchmaking, you can:

• 🤝 Find partners for Joint Interregional Projects (JIPs)
  Identify complementary organisations from PRECISEU funding and non-funding regions to co-create Innovation Action–type projects in personalised medicine.

• 💶 Prepare for PRECISEU cascade funding
  PRECISEU will distribute up to €11.57 M via its Open Call, with up to €3,000,000 per project and up to €600,000 per beneficiary (aligned with Horizon Europe IA funding rules and regional conditions).

• 🌍 Connect with multiple ecosystems
  Meet research organisations, SMEs, large companies, hospitals, regional authorities and innovation agencies working on PM, ATMPs and health data.

• ♻️ Build long-term collaborations
  Use the platform year-round to identify partners along the full value chain: from R&I and testbeds to market access, adoption in healthcare systems and sustainability models.

PRECISEU Matchmaking Platform is open to a broad range of stakeholders interested in personalised medicine and health innovation:

• SMEs, start-ups and large companies developing health data or ATMP solutions

• Universities, research institutes and technology centres

• Hospitals, healthcare providers, clinical centres and biobanks

• Regional and national authorities, innovation agencies and health ministries

• Patient organisations, NGOs and associations active in healthcare

• Clusters, accelerators and ecosystem builders in health and life sciences

Participation is particularly encouraged from entities based in PRECISEU funding regions: Catalonia (ES), Baden-Württemberg (DE), Emilia-Romagna (IT), Region of Crete (EL), Lithuania (LT), North-East Romania (RO) and the additional funding region to be confirmed.

Entities from PRECISEU non-funding regions and other EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries may also join the platform to explore collaboration opportunities; specific funding conditions will apply.

PRECISEU Open Call will fund JIPs that advance:

1. ATMPs and personalised therapeutic solutions
Examples (non-exhaustive):

• Novel ATMPs and personalised treatments (including for rare diseases and paediatric oncology)

• CMC, automation, robotics and AI for ATMP manufacturing and logistics

• Testbeds, pilot lines and decentralised manufacturing models

• Regulatory and access pathways, including toolboxes and sandboxes

• Approaches that reduce costs and improve scalability and equity of access

2. Health data & digital health for personalised medicine

• Data integration, interoperability and data governance for PM

• Data quality, security and federated infrastructures

• Real-world data and real-world evidence for clinical and policy decision-making

• AI and machine learning for PM development and adoption

• EHDS-aligned solutions and links to national/regional databases and registries

All projects should:

• Strengthen collaboration between research, industry, healthcare providers and regional authorities

• Deliver clear patient benefit and promote equity in personalised medicine

• Build cross-regional innovation alliances and knowledge transfer activities

The final call for proposals will launch in January 2026. Only projects that involve at least 3 partners from 3 different PRECISEU regions will be eligible for funding.
