PhotonQBoost Matching Mission in Czech Republic
Photonics in Czech Republic
The Czech Republic offers a full optical manufacturing chain – from precision machining and polishing of lenses, mirrors, filters, and high-performance optical coatings, to the development of sophisticated laser systems, optomechanics, metrology instruments, and cutting-edge microscopy solutions.
Dolní Břežany is home to world-leading laser centers such as ELI Beamlines and HiLASE, showcasing global excellence in high-power lasers, photonics research, and emerging optical quantum technologies.
Members of the Czech Optical Cluster span a wide spectrum of applications, including advanced microscopy, quantum photonics, defence and space optics, and innovative lighting technologies. Together, they create a strong and dynamic environment for industrial production, research collaboration, and technological innovation.
The Czech Republic is an ideal destination to explore new partnerships and opportunities across photonics, laser systems, optical manufacturing, quantum technologies, and aerospace and defence applications.

What is PhotonQboost?
We offer a range of funded services to increase the innovation, competitiveness, and sustainability of European SMEs. Our services center on the development and use of solutions powered by Photonics & Quantum Technologies.
Among those funded services, the Matching Missions aim to introduce various sectors of the economy (such as Manufacturing & Industrial Vision) to the possibilities that Photonics & Quantum Tech innovations could open for them.
Of course, learning about possibilities is just the start... We go further!
This Matching Mission will give you a unique opportunity to start a collaboration with companies of your choice among the other participants in order to apply together to our Open Calls for Funding and/or to apply to our advisory services.
Our Matching Missions are 3-day events with no registration fee.
