Climate resilience for cultural heritage: sensors and data to protect collections and historic buildings
Senior Marketing & Communications Manager at Neosyn SRL
Torino, Italy
About
Heat waves, humidity peaks and poor air quality damage artworks slowly, and usually nobody notices until the damage is done. Most museums and heritage sites still check their conditions by hand, room by room, if at all.
What we bring
-
Environmental monitoring already installed at the Depositeria Civica in Genoa (temperature, humidity, air quality, UV light), within our Kunst platform.
-
Sensors, data integration and dashboards that turn readings into early warnings for conservators and facility managers.
-
Integration with the systems each pilot site already uses, plus pilot deployment and maintenance.
-
Compliance by design and a route to market after the funding period.
What we're looking for
-
An experienced coordinator in cultural heritage or climate adaptation.
-
Research partners in conservation science and climate modelling.
-
Museums, archives and municipalities willing to be pilot sites.
Possible fit: Cluster 2 (cultural heritage) and the Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change.
