OpenCity Italia is digital platform created by OpenCity LABS to support Italian municipalities and local authorities in the digital transformation of public services. Its primary goal is to make public services more accessible, efficient, and user-friendly for citizens and businesses alike. Key Features: Comprehensive Service Catalog: Provides over 100 pre-configured digital services, including the issuance of permits and certificates, management of appointments, handling of payments and taxes, processing of bonuses and contributions, and access to social, educational, and healthcare services. User-Centric Design: Features a personalized user area—referred to as the "Citizen's Room"—where individuals can manage documents, track the status of their requests, receive notifications, and interact with the administration seamlessly. Administrative Tools: Equips public officials with a thoughtfully designed back office, facilitating efficient management of services, monitoring of activities, and communication with citizens. Integration Capabilities: Seamlessly integrates with national systems such as SPID (Public Digital Identity System), CIE (Electronic Identity Card), the IO app, and the pagoPA payment platform, ensuring compliance with Italy's digital public administration standards. Advanced Analytics: Incorporates a robust analytics system that enables real-time monitoring of service usage, user satisfaction, and operational performance, aiding in data-driven decision-making. Open Source and Cloud-Based: Built on open-source technology and available in a SaaS model, the platform is hosted on a cloud infrastructure certified by AgID (Agency for Digital Italy), aligning with the "cloud first" strategy of the Italian public administration. Originating from the Trentino region, OpenCity Italia has been instrumental in the digital evolution of local governance, with its technology now adopted by over 300 municipalities across Italy. The platform's design adheres to official guidelines for digital public services, ensuring a secure, scalable, and user-friendly experience for all stakeholders.
