Our main expertise is in the application of data-driven and digital technologies (artificial intelligence, big-data, multi-scale and physical modelling, simulation and virtualization, HPC, digital twins) in fields related to hi-tech innovation.

In a multidisciplinary environment, we design, develop and implement virtualization, simulation, predictive and automation frameworks for technological applications, merging competences on data-driven and AI technologies with multiscale simulation, digitalization, and high-performance computing. Specific competences in the context of smart communities include multi-level physical and data-driven simulations (urban environments, traffic microsimulations, logistics, energy managements, community management and sustainability) and the application of data-driven technologies and infrastructures (semantic technologies for knowledge management, data and knowledge integration, AI, machine learning, reinforcement learning, decision support systems, full software stacks). Our approach can contribute to tackling critical challenges in strategic application fields, including the development of applications and solutions in the context of smart communities.
