HORIZON-CL6-2025-01-BIODIV-06 - Assessing and modelling socio-economic impacts of nature restoration
About
The idea is to enable decision makers to assess spatially-explicit/scenario-based/multi-services/predictive and quantified tradeoffs associated with alternative management choices: maps, reports and summary tables produced by models that can serve to identify areas where investment in natural capital can enhance human development and conservation. Some ideas:
-
Identify where, and what kind of investments will provide the greatest returns in a multicriteria framework: biophysical (e.g. clean water, protection from floods), financial and other terms.
-
Presentation of results, impacts assessment: different audiences generally have different priorities, understandings, values: choose the format that is the most relevant for each stakeholder.
