OPD2026 Matchmaking

Optics and Photonics Days (OPD) is an annual central event in optics and photonics in Finland, and the largest yearly photonics event in the Nordic countries. OPD2026 will be held on 26-28 May 2026, in Jyväskylä, Finland.

OPD2026 offers a unique opportunity to learn from interesting presentations from academy and industry programs running in parallel, network with companies, students and researchers in the field of photonics and optics, but also to explore products and services at the exhibition that is held during the conference. Matchmaking at OPD2026 is organized by Enterprise Europe Network

The Matchmaking offers the OPD2026 participants, who are representing an organization, a possibility to book onsite 1to1 meetings with other registered matchmaking participants. The meetings are booked in advance by the participants, by sending and accepting meeting invitations in the matchmaking system. A real-time personal meeting agenda is visible in the matchmaking system, including the time and place for the accepted meeting invitations.

• 27 May 2026: The 15-minute meetings can be booked flexibly between 10-14 and 15-17. No specific location is reserved for these meetings by the organizer -> please agree on the meeting location with your meeting partner when booking the meeting.

• 28 May 2026: The 15-minute meetings can be booked to be held in the dedicated Matchmaking Area between 12-14.

Matchmaking is offered only to registered OPD2026 participants

Participation to the matchmaking requires registration:

• First, register to the main event OPD2026, as it is a pre-requisite for the matchmaking registration. Register here

• Then, register to the matchmaking on this site.

Before activating the registration in the system, the organizers check the quality of the participant profile and that the participant has registered to the OPD2026. This manual check might cause slight delay in the registration activation.
