IBIMA Partnering Offer – EP PerMEd 2026

IBIMA is open to collaborating as a funded partner in EP PerMEd 2026 proposals with diverse expertise. We are eligible to request funding as a partner through the Consejería de Salud de Andalucía.

IBIMA is a leading biomedical research institute in Málaga, Spain, integrating research from three university hospitals, primary care, the Biomedical Research Foundation of Málaga, and the University of Málaga. We have a multidisciplinary focus covering all medical areas relevant to this call.

• Precision Medicine & Biomarkers: Expertise in genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, and biomarker validation.

• Translational Research: Strong track record in bridging preclinical findings to clinical applications.

• Digital Health & AI Integration: Experience in integrating digital health platforms and AI-driven analytics for personalized patient management.

• Clinical Networks: Access to extensive patient cohorts across primary and tertiary care, enabling real-world data collection for precision medicine projects.

Proposed Contribution to PerMEd 2026

• Leading or supporting work packages on biomarker discovery and validation.

• Developing AI-driven predictive models for patient stratification.

• Facilitating clinical validation studies across diverse patient populations.

• Integrating multi-omic and clinical data for precision medicine strategies.

• Supporting dissemination, networking, and collaboration activities within the partnership.

Previous Experience

IBIMA has extensive experience in the preparation, implementation, and management of international projects. Currently, we have 2 active ERC grants, 3 MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships, 1 IHI project, several Cluster Health proposals, and multiple Joint Actions (ERA4Health, THCS, Interreg SUDEO, etc.).
