AIT Austrian Institute of Technology is Austria’s largest applied research organization and plays a leading international role in many infrastructure-related topics. This makes us a strong development partner for industry and a top employer in the international scientific community.
What do we do?Our approximately 1,400 employees work on research projects focused on decarbonization and digitalization. We develop solutions, methods, and tools (mostly prototypes) for sustainable energy systems, age-friendly independent living, innovative use of biological resources, top-level data network security, environmentally friendly e-mobility technologies, future mobility concepts, and the planning of livable, smart cities.
