At Paisaje Transversal we develop urban planning and design projects, through which we seek to reduce the environmental impact of cities and improve the quality of life of their inhabitants. Our projects are aligned with the objectives of the 2030 Agenda and the New Urban Agenda, which allows us to respond to the great global challenges. We attend to local needs by involving its inhabitants in the analysis and design of solutions. We listen to the city to transform it. We act on cities and territories under a transversal and interdisciplinary perspective that allows us to have a complete vision of their problems and potential, and design effective solutions. To do this, we apply innovative participatory and co-creation methodologies, as well as data-analysis tools resulting from our experience and knowledge, adapting them to local needs. We work on different types of projects, including: Urban regeneration: We transform degraded neighborhoods through processes that incorporate participation and allow their physical, environmental, social and economic improvement. To do this, we carry out comprehensive and participatory diagnoses, plan actions and execute improvement projects and programs., Public Space: We design and renovate public spaces incorporating the needs of their users. We work to transform squares, streets, parks into more accessible and safe spaces, ensure the mix and diversity of uses and users and improve climatic, environmental and ecological conditions., Revitalization of neighborhoods: and buildings We improve and fill neighborhoods and streets, as well as empty or disused public buildings, with social, cultural and economic activity. To achieve this, we design and implement innovative strategies together with social, cultural and economic agents, taking advantage of underused spaces to provide them with new uses., Climate change adaptation: We develop plans and projects so that cities can adapt and mitigate the effects of climate change through naturalization actions, the reconversion of empty spaces and the improvement of pedestrian and bicycle mobility, generating healthy environments with a lower environmental impact. If you want to learn more about our projects you can visit our site and our blog, where we exchange knowledge and ideas with the global urban community (one of the most read urbanism blogs in Spanish worldwide).
