About

Spatial justice is a concept that addresses ideas and actions to seek a more just society based on inhabited space.

One of the advantages of this concept is that it goes beyond the redistribution of material goods to the poor. Spatial justice allows us to highlight the issue of accessibility to services and resources within a metropolitan area.

Research has shown that the ways in which inhabitants links justice and their personal life plans are very diverse. People want different things from their living environment. For this reason, spatial justice highlights the challenges of cohabitation.

I have researched this topic for 15 years, focusing on the two main questions:

-       How do people connect their justification for a feeling of injustice to a spatial situation?

-       What transformation of space do they envision that can lead to greater justice?

From this expertise, I have developed several spatial justice tools useful for bringing citizens with different political orientations around the table and create cohesive visions for a more just space.

My methods mobilize audiovisual tools, dance, drawing, writing and model making!
