Gothenburg looking for partners for NEB-2025-PARTICIPATION-02
About
Gothenburg City has the last few years started to develop new methods for place building in early stages, and is now looking for partners for a consortium to further deepen the knowledge of the methods’ effects through academic research and surveys, to ensure it reaches its maximum potential in an evidence-based manner and investigate how to move from pilot projects to integration into the cities’ long term strategic working methods.
The city is seeking to serve as a demonstration site for piloting solutions and test and validate new methods or approaches. Through our previous projects, we have the capacity of find new paths within urban development in close collaboration with the public.
The project within Horizon would focus on the following points and contribute to these topics:
· Accelerate transition to a sustainable and equal society
· Planning with prototypes and time gaps (Place building)
· Finding Frihamnen (Identity)
