About

BioG3D is a technology-driven SME based in Athens, Greece, founded in 2017. The company provides performance-oriented solutions powered by Additive Manufacturing (AM), aiming to accelerate Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) through advanced prototyping and tailored digital manufacturing.

At the heart of BioG3D’s work is the development of custom materials, specialised AM processes, and application-specific design strategies, guided by Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) principles. The company continuously refines its manufacturing workflows and feedstock materials to meet demanding quality and performance requirements.

BioG3D offers end-to-end product development, using computational design, parametric 3D modelling, and optimisation of printing parameters to enable the creation of personalised, functional, and sustainable products. The company is also active in toxicological assessment and in-vitro testing, ensuring the safety and effectiveness of materials throughout the lifecycle of each product.

With a holistic, research-oriented approach, BioG3D explores new methodologies in AM, integrating physical and digital tools to unlock the full potential of digital manufacturing. Its mission is to deliver innovative, human-centric solutions that bridge advanced materials, safe design, and sustainable production.
