Training director and coordinator of the Common Spaces Diploma at Yes We Camp
Marseille, France
About
We have been running over 20 Common Spaces around France for the last 10 years, and created an affiliated diploma, together with the French University UGE to gain and share knowledge about these spaces. Our methodologies are experimental, with action research and bottom up learning. With different European programs, we have been upscaling our methodology to other countries, in order to help creating trainings around Common Spaces around Europe.
Since last year, we have been structuring a research program internally, with a focus on the following research question : How can we democratise hybrid common spaces to create ecological and social territories, drawing on the resources (methodologies, tools, networks of actors and places) of Yes We Camp?
Today, we wish to continue gaining knowledge from our field in other european countries, and contributing to an action research program which is willing to include the third sector/civil society as a research stakeholder.
