Territorial innovation for inclusive and sustainable futures

Social Seed is a Bologna-based (Italy) agency specialised in research, training, and strategic support for social innovation. Since 2014, we have been working at the intersection of public policy, territorial development, and impact-driven transformation, supporting public authorities, social enterprises, and third-sector organisations.

In the context of Horizon Europe – Cluster 6, Social Seed brings valuable expertise in designing and facilitating integrated territorial processes that connect sustainability, inclusion, and participatory governance.

We contribute to European projects with:

• Strong experience in systemic and place-based approaches for rural and urban regeneration

• Expertise in co-design, multi-stakeholder engagement, and social impact strategies

• Proven capacity to connect local communities, public authorities, and SMEs around shared development visions

• Tools and methods to enable community-driven innovation, especially in marginal or transition contexts

• A focus on cross-sectoral collaboration, with particular attention to ecological transition, bioeconomy, circularity, and social resilience
