The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA) is a leading higher education and research institution in Slovakia, recognised for high-quality teaching, strong scientific output, and active international collaboration.
Within SUA, the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering provides specialised expertise in landscape architecture, landscape planning and engineering, and horticulture, combining design, technical, and ecological approaches. Our research focuses on green and blue infrastructure, nature-based solutions, urban and rural landscape development, public space design, and cultural landscape management.
We apply research-by-design and interdisciplinary methods to address sustainability, climate adaptation, and resilient territorial development. Through strong links with practice, public authorities, and European research networks, we deliver impactful, solution-oriented results.
SUA is an experienced and reliable partner for Horizon Europe projects, particularly in Cluster 2, contributing expertise at the intersection of environment, society, and landscape.
