Climate Adaptation Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Partner

A Sud Ecologia e Cooperazione APS is an Italian non-profit organisation (Rome) working at the intersection of environmental justice, citizen science, and ecological communication. We are looking for consortium partners for CLIMA-02 — Facilitating Implementation of Actionable Climate Solutions. What we bring to the consortium: • Science-to-policy communication: We have hands-on experience translating complex scientific content into accessible formats for non-specialist audiences, including local authorities, community associations, and civil society. Our Ecological Glossary is a concrete output of this kind of work. • Stakeholder engagement and facilitation: We design and run participatory processes, multi-stakeholder workshops, and community-level engagement activities. We are experienced in co-producing materials (toolkits, plain-language guides, policy briefs) that local authorities can actually use. • Established networks with local authorities: Through the Rome Climate Hub and our partnerships with municipalities (including Roma Capitale), we have operational channels to reach local decision-makers — exactly the target audience for actionable adaptation solutions. • Demonstrated Horizon Europe capacity: We are currently partners in two active Horizon Europe projects (SystR and Enforce), with validated experience in consortium management, reporting, and deliverable production. We are particularly interested in leading the WP Communication & Dissemination and/or WP Stakeholder Engagement within the consortium. We are open to collaborating with scientific institutions, national agencies, research centres, and other NGOs from EU/associated countries.
