Preservation of linguistic diversity, cultural identity and heritage in the context of migration

Activities of the Institute for migration research include interdisciplinary research about the socio-political conditions and consequences of migration, ethnic development, ethnic relations, and various forms of identity. The emphasis of the project proposal that we are developing or that we would join as a partner is the preservation of linguistic diversity, cultural identity and heritage in the context of migration. We are primarily interested in the establishment of concrete partnerships with institutions and research groups operating in related fields and involvement in international projects in which a recognizable and content-relevant contribution can be made.
