Empowering Marginalized Voices in Democratic Innovations
Acting Manager at Comparative Research Network e.V.
Berlin, Germany
About
Who We Are:
Comparative Research Network (CRN) is a specialized NGO bridging the gap between social research, non-formal education, and active citizenship. We excel at translating complex democratic and public policy concepts into accessible, high-energy learning environments for hard-to-reach groups and youth.
What We Offer to the Consortium:
We provide robust, field-tested methodologies to ensure your project's societal engagement isn't just a tick-box exercise, but a genuine bottom-up process. We offer:
• Community Reporting & Citizen Science: Utilizing methodologies from our successful CONTINUE and ScieCitizens 2.0 projects to gather lived-experience narratives and hyper-local data from marginalized communities.
• Gamified Co-Creation (Serious Games): Developing tailored simulation games (like our Kieztraum approach) to help citizens and policymakers collaboratively solve complex socio-economic challenges.
• Agile "8-Week-Ideas": Moderating rapid, localized prototyping cycles where citizens and public administrations co-design and test tangible solutions for democratic or social challenges in real-time.
Roles We Can Take: WP Leader for Citizen & Stakeholder Engagement; Co-Creation Methodologies; or Societal Impact & Capacity Building.
What We Are Looking For:
Consortium coordinators or partners developing proposals under Destination 1 (Innovative Research on Democracy and Governance) or Destination 3 (Social and Economic Transformations), specifically those focusing on civic participation, youth empowerment, or democratic resilience.
