Attracting, Integrating and Retaining Global Talent in Europe: Skills, Careers and Multilevel Strategies
Prof., Head of Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Management at Kaunas University of Technology
Kaunas, Lithuania
About
We are working on the proposal for HORIZON-CL2-2026-01-TRANSFO-06: Making Europe a global magnet for talent – attracting and retaining students, researchers and high-skilled workers from outside the EU.
The project will focus on organisational, labour market and policy-level factors shaping talent attraction and retention in Europe. It will address challenges related to skills development, career pathways, working conditions, and integration of international talent into European labour markets.
Particular attention will be given to the role of organisations and HRM practices in creating attractive and sustainable career environments, as well as to the impact of digital and AI-driven transformations on jobs, competencies, and mobility patterns.
The project will apply mixed-method approaches, combining qualitative research, case studies, and policy analysis, with a strong comparative perspective across EU countries.
We are looking for partners with expertise in:
-
labour market economics and migration
-
education and skills systems
-
policy analysis and evaluation
-
data analytics and quantitative methods
-
public sector and stakeholder engagement
We welcome universities, research institutes, policy organisations, and stakeholders interested in contributing to a strong interdisciplinary consortium.
