Integrating Transversal Skills into environmental and energy master programmes

Environmental and renewable energy professionals need to possess strong transversal skills - such as effective communication, leadership, negotiation, critical thinking and intercultural collaboration - to successfully manage complex projects, involve diverse stakeholders and promote sustainable energy solutions. Currently, these skills are not sufficiently integrated in many technical higher education programmes in Europe. We are looking for partners from academia, business, industry and administration willing to develop a curriculum for STEM master students, integrating the development of non-technical skills that will help promote innovation and increase competitiveness.
