About

We are interested in developing or joining a consortium under Horizon Europe Cluster 2 (Work Programme 2026–2027), focusing on democracy, rule of law, and the protection of fundamental rights in the context of digital transformation. Our contribution focuses on the legal and societal implications of artificial intelligence in judicial and administrative decision-making. In particular, the project would examine how algorithmic systems influence access to justice, procedural fairness, transparency, and accountability, in line with European human rights standards. We bring expertise in human rights law, ECHR jurisprudence, and the legal assessment of emerging technologies, with a regional focus on Eastern Europe, including Moldova. We can contribute to doctrinal legal research, case studies, and the evaluation of compliance with fundamental rights requirements. We are interested in collaborating with interdisciplinary partners (law, social sciences, data science, public policy) and participating as a partner responsible for legal analysis and fundamental rights components within a Cluster 2 proposal.
