Croatian Permaculture (Hrvatska permakultura), founded in 1995, is an NGO promoting sustainable design, regenerative practices and resilient communities through education, networking and community-led action. Since 2014, it has supported Croatia’s Transition movement, delivering local and international projects, permaculture training and capacity-building programmes. Its work includes Erasmus+ initiatives, community resilience projects and the development of Perforum.info, a platform for sustainable communities.
As a facilitator of the “Sljeme za sve” initiative, we provide expertise, coordination and logistical support for the participatory revitalisation of a former industrial complex in Sesvete, Zagreb. In 2024–2025, the initiative mobilised volunteers, experts and local institutions. Croatian Permaculture brings proven experience in turning sustainability principles into practical, community-driven solutions, reflecting the New European Bauhaus values.
Activities led by Croatian Permaculture through the “Sljeme za sve” initiative can be followed on Facebook and Instagram. We welcome contact from organisations and individuals interested in community-led regeneration, permaculture, inclusive public spaces and sustainable community development, and are open to exchanging knowledge and exploring opportunities for collaboration.
