Spacecraft is a solution-focused practice delivering creative workspace, meanwhile use and site activation strategies that make places out of spaces.

We work closely with local councils, landowners and developers on community-led projects through design-based spatial and public realm interventions. The focus is always on local community needs and translating those into a successful meanwhile scheme or new development.

We have experience developing creative solutions for vacant and underused retail, industrial, office and cultural spaces across London. Vacancy and affordability are two of the key issues affecting businesses and local communities on one side, and the development industry on the other.

Our aim is to bridge the gap between landlords and occupiers by devising operational models for underused properties, bringing affordable spaces to market, increasing footfall and activating areas, while helping landowners and developers optimise the use of their premises.
