Development centre Novo mesto

Development centre Novo mesto Ltd. (DC NM) is a team of experts in the field of regional development, entrepreneurship, tourism, rural development and robotics with the aim of encouraging entrepreneurship and development of the South-East region of Slovenia. In the framework of regional development, DC NM identifies and prepares regional development programs, develops projects, strategies and documentation especially in the field of tourism and rural development. The Centre is an important juncture of various information, project ideas, programs and initiatives. In the field of tourism, for instance, the Centre provides assistance in designing tourism products, preparing thematic education and content, advising on the realization of ideas, promoting offers and providers, assisting in defining target groups and market niches, linking with relevant institutions and business partners, etc. DC NM also provides consultation on EU fundings and implements itself EU funded projects. For this purpose the Centre established the Europe Direct Point, a useful information resource, organizing events on EU programmes and of EU interest in the city.
