IMECE Sustainable Living Association is a non-profit civil organisation established in Bursa, Türkiye, aiming to promote education, sustainable development, and technology-based transformation towards a balanced and environmentally responsible future.
IMECE acts as a bridge between academia, industry, and society, focusing on three main pillars:
• Lifelong Learning in Re-skilling, Up-Skilling concerning VET and Softskill
• Green Transformation and Climate Awareness
• Digitalisation and Technological Capacity Building
• Social Impact & Inclusion
Our mission is to enhance environmental and digital literacy while empowering local communities, SMEs, and individuals to actively participate in the transition to a sustainable, inclusive, and technology-driven economy.
C. MAIN ACTIVITIES
1. Education and Training
o Designing modular and micro-learning programmes on vocational education, STEM, green and digital skills, sustainability management, circular economy, and energy efficiency.
o Delivering certified capacity-building training for SMEs, educators, women, and youth.
o Organising workshops, bootcamps, and study visits under Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe initiatives.
2. Technological and Environmental Projects
o Developing IoT, AI, and data-based applications for carbon footprint monitoring and environmental analysis.
o Creating digital twin simulations for vocational training.
o Running research and applied projects on clean production, energy optimisation, and circular economy.
3. Community & Social Impact Initiatives
o Promoting local participation in sustainability through awareness campaigns and volunteering.
o Supporting green entrepreneurship and women-led sustainability initiatives.
o Measuring and reporting social and environmental impact through the “IMECE Impact Index.
4. International Cooperation
o Collaborating with NGOs, universities, and local governments for cross-border sustainability actions.
