Gradoscope
About
Gradoscope is a multidisciplinary nonprofit organization based in Sofia, Bulgaria, working at the intersection of urban research, architecture, and civic engagement. The organization focuses on the sustainable transformation of cities and industrial landscapes through collaborative and socially driven approaches. Bringing together architects, researchers, designers, and communication specialists, Gradoscope develops projects that connect citizens, institutions, businesses, and cultural actors in the process of shaping urban environments.
Through research, participatory workshops, and pilot initiatives, Gradoscope explores new models for urban regeneration, the adaptive reuse of cultural and industrial heritage, and the ecological restoration of landscapes. Its work often addresses post-industrial territories, infrastructure corridors, and emerging economic zones, examining how these spaces can evolve in more inclusive and environmentally responsible ways. By combining analytical research with public programming and design strategies, Gradoscope aims to foster dialogue and long-term visions for the future of cities.
