Participatory Lab

Participatory Lab is a collaborative initiative of over 800 members, bringing together professional expertise, scientific research, policy-making, local initiatives, and citizen engagement. We advance participatory design, sustainability, and climate adaptation through research, workshops, educational programs, studies, proposals, and collaborations with local authorities, NGOs, educational institutions, and international partners. By fostering inclusive, resilient, and aesthetically meaningful environments, Participatory Lab contributes to the New European Bauhaus mission, promoting sustainable, inclusive, and beautiful spaces that connect people, culture, and nature.

Mission: Our mission is to protect the environment through climate action and participatory processes that empower communities. We promote interdisciplinary collaboration to design sustainable, inclusive, and resilient cities. By combining research, education, and social innovation, we foster environmental awareness, climate justice, and collective responsibility for a fair and sustainable future.

Key activities: We conduct research, studies, and projects on sustainable development, climate action, urban quality, and social inclusion. Our activities include participatory design, public space regeneration, gender equality planning, and education. We organize conferences, awareness campaigns, and cultural events, create audiovisual content, and collaborate with public, private, and civil society organizations to promote environmental and social transformation.
