About
At the BID’s 5-year renewal in 2022 we made a Environmental Promise to our community.
This attempts to answer the question, “Given the environmental challenges on the global scale, what can we do as Norwich BID and how can we work towards a greener city?”. Our projects are wide reaching and our most significant project to date is the Norwich Solar System will transform unused business rooftops into solar energy generators.
Working with ConsensusPower, Norwich BID has led the way to establish a local energy community for Norwich providing businesses with lower-cost, locally sourced, sustainable energy.
We would like to explore the potential to develop a How To Guide that other locations can use to learn from the development of our Norwich Solar System project.
