About

Aligned with the philosophy and practice of Placemaking, embedded within the objective of creating “Social Streetscapes” that work for everyone. Concept. This interprets the call’s requirements through the lens of strengthening social connection, resolving spatial tensions, building inclusive community identity and supporting neighbourhood or district coexistence through place-based design and participation.  This area of the enhancement of public space is underrepresented area of research, which this proposal will tackle. The project is fundamentally interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary in its approach utilising Community-Led, Creative, Strategic placemaking, leading to collaborative “placeshaping”.
