ITeC (Institute of Construction Technology of Catalonia) is a non-profit foundation with more than 45 years of experience driving innovation, sustainability and digitalisation in the construction sector. As a frequent participant in Horizon Europe and other international R&D programmes, we support consortia from concept development to market uptake, bridging research, industry and public stakeholders.

What we bring to European projects:

• Digital solutions for sustainable construction: BIM, Digital Product Passports (DPP), Building Material Passports (BMP), Digital Twins and data interoperability.
• Environmental and circularity assessment: Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), carbon footprint calculation, circularity indicators, Level(s) framework and resource efficiency evaluation.
• Certification and market deployment of innovative construction products and systems, including support for standardisation and regulatory compliance.
• Proprietary datasets and calculation engines integrating technical, environmental and economic information (BEDEC and TCQi).
• Expertise in Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), decarbonisation strategies and circular construction solutions.
• Validation, replicability, scalability and exploitation strategies for innovative technologies.
• Access to a broad innovation ecosystem through ConTech Hub, connecting start-ups, SMEs, technology providers and end-users.

We are particularly interested in participating in New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiatives and Horizon Europe Cluster 4, Cluster 5 and Cluster 6 calls, while remaining open to other opportunities aligned with our expertise.
