About
The University of Coimbra (UC) is preparing a proposal for the HORIZON-NEB-2026-01-REGEN-01 call focused on sustainable, inclusive, affordable, and beautiful solutions for thermal comfort in buildings.
UC has strong expertise in Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ), thermal comfort assessment, advanced monitoring systems, data-driven analysis, and occupant-centred strategies. Our team has extensive experience in experimental research, performance evaluation, and the development of innovative approaches to improve health, wellbeing, and energy efficiency in the built environment.
We intend to play a key scientific and technical role in the consortium, contributing to methodology development, field measurements, user-focused evaluation, and impact assessment.
We are looking for partners such as:
