MUSHROOM & MYCELIUM INDUSTRY MATCHMAKING EVENT 2025

Welcome to MYCOCLUSTER Matchmaking Event!

Despite the fact that fungi are among Earth’s most ancient life forms—believed by some to have arrived here via cosmic origins, possibly on meteorites—they continue to receive far less attention than plants or animals in innovation, policy, and investment. Fungi, and especially mycelium, are often miscategorized as “plant-based.” However, fungi are neither plant nor animal, but a unique and vital kingdom of life with transformative applications across industries.

To correct this oversight, we are launching a new Fungi (mushroom) and Mycelium Cluster—Mycocluster—dedicated entirely to unlocking the power of fungi in biotech, food, packaging, construction, cosmetics, textiles, and beyond.

This first-of-its-kind Mycocluster Matchmaking Event is designed to bring together innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and enthusiasts from across the fungi and mycelium value chain.
