Next generation Smart Home
Head of Open Innovation at LG Future Home (LG Electronics)

About
We are looking for solutions that could make the home even smarter and more convenient to use for our customers. Suitable solutions could be devices that add more value when they connect to our eco-system of appliances and smart home. Other matching solutions could be services that ease the life of our users.
Examples:
- Understanding scenarios and user behaviour pattern at home based on sensor and appliance data. Use this understanding to recommend actions or pro-actively adopt appliance settings. Example is to initiate "night mode“ of appliances when the user falls asleep.
- Lightweight Generative AI that can run as recommendation engine on smart home hubs or appliances with low performance requirements
- IoT devices and technologies to enhance connectivity (but no simple door, motion sensors)
- Home as a Service, Subscription models and platforms, for example pet care service or automated laundry services
