  • An additional identity verification step is applied for tansactions that carry high risk in order to prevent financial fraud cases.

  • Currently, encrypted identity information from the customer's chip based ID card is read via NFC technology and verified through the government-backed Identity Sharing System.

  • Due to issues related to the user, the ID card, or the device, alternative authentication methods that improve accessibility, reduce operational costs, and enhance the overall experience are being considered.

  • Solutions that leverage boimetric data for identity verification or device-based security enhancements will be evaluated.
