Development of Biological Plant Conditioners that help stress adoptation
About
Plant development and production can be adversely affected by environmental stress factors (salinity, drought, heat, flooding, cold). Research shows that abiotic stressors are the primary causes of global crop losses, which can significantly reduce average yields for many crops. One of the most important abiotic stressors today is global warming, which poses a significant risk to agriculture. These stressors significantly alter plant metabolism by producing reactive oxygen species (ROS), which disrupt ionic balance and homeostasis within plants. Naturally occurring plant growth regulators are becoming increasingly important in crop production, as these compounds offer the opportunity to exogenously improve plant health by protecting plants from oxidative stress.
