About me

My name is Ayodeji Aduloju.

I am a Research Officer at the Biotechnology research unit of the National Horticultural Research Institute (NIHORT), Ibadan, Nigeria. my role involves the use of plant tissue culture techniques for plant transformation via direct and indirect organogenesis and mass multiplication of elite and desirable traits. In addition, I use molecular biology tools for characterization and evaluation of the institute's crop mandates.

Over the years, I have deepened my knowledge and technical expertise in these areas, however, I look forward to be more relevant and push the boundaries of improving plant traits to enhance crop yield, resilience and quality of nutritional and economic crops. So, I am open to training and mentorship that enhance my understanding and technical capacity in the transformative potential of gene editing of plants.
