Expression of Interest – Partnership in MSCA Doctoral Networks 2026 Proposal on Power Electronics

senior researcher at Riga Technical University

Riga, Latvia

About

I express strong interest in establishing a collaboration with other partners (beneficiary or associated partner) in a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Networks 2026 proposal to train the next generation of researchers in cutting-edge power electronics topics.

My research focuses on high-efficiency wide-bandgap converters, advanced control techniques for renewable energy integration, power electronics for electric drives and other topics. I can contribute to the network by: hosting and supervising 1–2 doctoral candidates (full beneficiary role preferred); providing secondment opportunities and hands-on training in our labs; delivering specialized modules, and others .

Possible sub-topics could include:

  • Next-generation converters for renewable energy systems and energy storage.

  • Power electronics reliability, digitalization, and AI/ML applications.

  • Wide-bandgap semiconductors and high-frequencysystems.

  • Integration with smart DC grids.

This aligns perfectly with MSCA priorities: international, inter-sectoral, and interdisciplinary training, with strong emphasis on transferable skills, industry exposure, and long-term employability.
