Climate change records and energy and natural raw material resources

Ancient records of climate change including its magnitude, types, extension and effects on civilizations are important to understand what will be the effects of climate change in the future.

Increasing demends on energy and material resources can force the reseracher to focus on new types of energy and material reseources and exploration of natural reseource will be very important.

Therefore application of geological methods for investigation of effects ancient climate changes and exploration of energy and natural raw material resources is one of the important issues for the future, such as searching for hydrogene, geothermal, natural gas, methane, REE, Trace Elements, quartz, sand, clay, natural stones, etc.

Here by, we have very good analytical laboratories and facilities for different scientific analysis in Middle East Technical University, and very good education systems for these issues.

Therefore those who are insterested above subjects can apply for PhD or Post Doc researchers for my supervisorship.
