About me
Tate Lauderdale became the youngest licensed Architect in the United States at 23. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University and a Master of Real Estate Development. At 24, Tate founded his own architectural practice, focusing on residential and commercial projects, and has also acted as a developer on various US projects. His architectural journey includes twelve months of study in Italy, studying mass timber construction
Licensed to practice in 16 states, Tate’s expertise spans a wide geographic range. He is an avid sailor, certified by ASA to bareboat vessels up to 60 feet, and has visited marinas across the Caribbean and Mediterranean, including St. Barths, St. Martin, Anguilla, and Barcelona. In addition to his passion for sailing, Tate dedicates most of his free time to the research and development of mass timber construction. His interests and experiences bring a unique approach to marina design and sustainable architecture.
