The Institute of Research on Population and Social Policies (IRPPS)is an Interdisciplinary Research Institute of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), belonging to the Social sciences and humanities, cultural heritage Department. The research group on Social Informatics and Technology Assessment mainly focuses on: theoretical and technological innovations to reduce the digital divide in the population, increasing the availability and accessibility of services, information, data, and knowledge through ICT; the analysis of the impact of ICT on the population and the expectations in terms of evolution and perspectives of technologies.
