The Biomedical Research Institute of A Coruña is comprised of research groups from the Hospital, the University, and the Primary Care Department of A Coruña. The goal is to create a stable framework for collaboration that integrates basic and clinical research, enabling a more effective transfer of scientific advances in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases to society.
INIBIC is a research institute accredited on March 10, 2015, by the Secretary of State for Research, Development, and Innovation, at the proposal of the Carlos III Health Institute and the Regional Ministry of Health, in accordance with Royal Decree 339/2004.
