Supporting more than 60 municipalities in implementing their climate plans, the Province of Liege is a key actor in local territorial climate governance, demonstrating a strong institutional commitment to climate change mitigation and adaptation. Energy efficiency strategy in public buildings, holistic solutions for sustainable food systems and healthy diets, nature-based solutions in urban areas linked with ecological corridors and agroecological approaches are part of the priorities in terms of climate change mitigation and adaptation actions.
