About

AIMPLAS, Technological Institute of Plastics located in Valencia, is a private, non-profit Association with more than 900 associated companies created in 1990. AIMPLAS is formed by +270 highly skilled professionals. AIMPLAS has more than 30 years of expertise in the fields of recycling (mechanical, chemical and enzymatic), blends compatibilization, reactive extrusion, synthesis of biopolymers and renewable source materials, special assisted processing technologies, plastronics, materials for 3D printing, high performance coatings and nanocomposites. . AIMPLAS has participated in 120 EU projects in FP5, FP6, FP7, LIFE+, CIP-EcoInnovation, H2020, HEU, etc.., coordinating more 40 of them. AIMPLAS has +10,000 m2 state-of-the-art facilities, including thermoplastics and thermoset pilot plants, analysis and testing laboratories and training areas.
