The European University of Madrid (UEM) has established itself since 1995 as a Higher Education Institution, offering more than 200 official programs (54 undergraduate, 47 master’s, 9 doctoral, and 46 proprietary lifelong learning programs) across all fields of knowledge. It offers programs in multiple languages, both in face-to-face and virtual modalities, and they are distributed across various faculties: Medicine, Health, and Sports; Economics, Business, and Communication Sciences; Legal Sciences, Education, and Humanities; Biomedical and Health Sciences; Engineering, Architecture, and Design (STEAM); Creative Campus; Doctorate; and Professional/Vocational Training Center. All official programs comply with national regulatory standards.
UEM considers academic quality one of its top priorities. Its quality assurance system is designed to ensure continuous improvement through the design, implementation, and evaluation of processes.
Various agencies accredit both specific programs, such as the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB), the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT), the Accreditation Council for Business and Programs (ACBSP), and the European standards of Europe Active, as well as institutional-level certifications, including EFQM 500+, QS Stars, ISO14001, ISO45001, Madrid Excelente, and Exercise is Medicine on Campus (Gold Level).In addition to its commitment to academic excellence, UEM stands out for its extensive research activity, focused on innovation and the application of knowledge in the social and professional spheres. The university hosts multiple research groups in areas such as health, engineering, education, sustainability, artificial intelligence, law, and social sciences, among others. Its researchers participate in national and international projects, promoting scientific advancement and the transfer of knowledge to society.
